Networks, Connectivity & Remote Infrastructure

Structured Cabling, Wi-Fi & Switching

Reliable Wi-Fi starts with the network supporting it. CIS plans and installs cabling, access points, switching and organized equipment for homes and businesses.

CIS hardwired access point beneath an exposed building structure

Structured cabling

Network drops, patch panels, cable labels and connections to offices, cameras, access points and equipment.

Wi-Fi coverage

Access point placement around building layout, construction and usage. Coverage for work areas, living spaces and suitable outdoor locations.

Network separation

Guest, business, camera and connected-device networks configured to the project. Permissions and access are planned with the equipment.

Equipment organization

Switching, racks, enclosures and backup power selection, with room and access for future service.

Before equipment is selected

What we plan around.

  • Floor plan and construction materials
  • Number of users and connected devices
  • Internet service and existing router
  • Available cable routes and network closets
  • Guest and business access needs
  • Capacity for cameras and future additions

Questions about networking & connectivity

Do I have to replace everything?

No. We review the equipment and wiring you already have, then identify the pieces that limit reliability or coverage.

Can you separate guest Wi-Fi from my business devices?

Yes, when the selected router, switches and access points support the required network separation.

Can you organize an existing network rack?

Yes. We scope cable tracing, labeling, replacement, cleanup and any planned interruption before work begins.
