Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Cleveland Integrated Systems (CIS) handles information through this website and related project inquiries. It describes the website configuration in use on the effective date. Contact privacy@clevelandintegratedsystems.com with privacy questions. You may also email CIS about a privacy request .
Information you provide
When you submit a contact or project inquiry form on the CIS website, CIS receives the information you enter, which may include your name, company, email address, phone number, project type, project location, preferred contact method, timing and the description or message you provide. The forms may also record the page and campaign parameters associated with the inquiry so CIS can understand where a lead originated.
Some CIS advertisements may include a Google-hosted lead form. If you submit one, CIS receives the contact information and answers you choose to provide through Google Ads, such as your name, email address, phone number and project-type response. Google operates the form and may process the submission under its own terms and privacy practices before making the lead available to CIS.
When you email CIS directly, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include. We may receive additional project information when you communicate with CIS about an estimate, scheduling or a project.
Please do not submit passwords, alarm codes, payment-card details, identity documents or other sensitive credentials through initial inquiries. The website does not currently accept file uploads.
Technical information & cookies
Requests to the website are processed by hosting and security infrastructure. This may involve IP addresses, request times, browser or device information, requested pages and security or error records needed to deliver and protect the service.
CIS uses a Google Ads Google tag to measure advertising effectiveness and whether advertising leads to website activity or inquiries. The tag uses Google Consent Mode. Advertising storage and advertising user-data consent default to denied until a visitor chooses to allow measurement. When you allow measurement and successfully submit a project quote, the email address from your inquiry is supplied to the Google tag for enhanced-conversion matching; Google hashes it before transmission to help match the inquiry to a prior ad interaction. We do not send your quote email to the Google tag for enhanced-conversion matching when measurement is declined. Advertising personalization remains disabled, and CIS does not currently use Google Analytics on this website.
If measurement is declined, the Google tag may still transmit limited cookieless measurement signals consistent with Google Consent Mode. See the Cookie Information page for the available controls.
How information is used
CIS uses inquiry and communication information to respond to requests, assess a potential project, prepare a scope or estimate, arrange next steps and provide requested services.
CIS may also use campaign and measurement information to evaluate advertising performance, understand which marketing efforts generate inquiries and improve advertising decisions. Sending an inquiry does not enroll you in a newsletter or marketing list.
Related project records may also be retained for service support, business administration, resolving disputes and applicable recordkeeping obligations.
Service providers
CIS uses third-party infrastructure to host, secure and operate the website and to process communications. Cloudflare provides website delivery, security services and Turnstile protection used on inquiry forms. Email providers process messages sent to and from CIS.
Google provides Google Ads measurement through the Google tag. Depending on a visitor's measurement choice and Google's Consent Mode behavior, Google may process advertising measurement information such as page context, ad-click information, device or browser information and consent state. CIS configures the website to keep advertising personalization disabled.
Google may also host lead forms attached to CIS advertisements and make submitted lead information available to CIS through Google Ads and any lead-delivery options CIS enables, such as notifications, downloads or integrations. CIS uses that information to respond to the request, qualify the opportunity and manage follow-up.
Website media may be delivered through CIS-managed hosting or content-delivery infrastructure. Service providers process information according to their respective terms and privacy practices.
When information may be shared
CIS does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by the hosting providers described above and shared with service providers where reasonably needed to respond to an inquiry or perform a project.
When a specialty subcontractor is needed, CIS may share relevant project details needed to assess, coordinate or carry out that part of the work. CIS limits disclosure to the project details needed for that work.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to respond to lawful process, or where reasonably needed to protect people, property, service integrity or legal rights. Information from project inquiries is not a public customer directory.
Retention
Inquiry communications are retained in CIS business records for review and follow-up until they are removed by an authorized administrator. There is currently no automatic expiry schedule. Related estimates, communications and project records may need to be kept for ongoing work, support, accounting, dispute resolution or other legitimate business needs.
Retention depends on the type of record and applicable obligations rather than a single fixed period. You may ask CIS to review information that is no longer needed. Removal from active records may not immediately remove copies retained temporarily in provider backups or security records.
Security
CIS uses safeguards appropriate to the website and its hosting environment. Email messages are handled by the providers involved in sending and receiving them. No website, storage system or communication method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Please keep sensitive installation information out of initial inquiries. CIS can discuss a suitable method for exchanging information required later in a project.
Your questions & requests
You can ask about information you provided, request a correction or ask for deletion by contacting privacy@clevelandintegratedsystems.com . Provide enough context to locate your inquiry, such as the approximate date or topic. Do not include identity documents or sensitive account details in an initial message.
CIS may need to verify a request before disclosing or changing records. Requests will be considered in light of applicable rights, ongoing work and recordkeeping obligations. This policy does not limit rights provided by applicable law.
Children, external links & updates
This website is intended for people seeking property or business systems services and is not directed to children. If a child has provided information, contact CIS so it can be reviewed.
External websites have their own privacy practices. Following a manufacturer or provider link takes you outside this website.
We may update this policy as the website, providers or services change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. New tracking, file handling or marketing functionality should be reflected here when introduced.
